John Wray, a well known face at the Cardiff based distributor Sunbase Promotional Products, contracted a debilitating illness last Christmas & as a result has been unable to work full time since. During Johns absence from the business, Sunbase Promotional Products (owned by his wife), got into difficulties, which has concluded in the recent liquidation of the company. Until early this year, John had served several years on the Promota committee and had specific responsibilities for the Promota website. Now making a slow recovery, John is starting a new venture, Sunbase Promotional Consultancy, assisted by his wife, Margaret, and long serving team member Jill Duggan. John said “We are receiving encouraging support from our old supplier base. Without their help we would not be able to succeed in the new venture.”
