At a recent government briefing, Professor Chris Whitty, Chief Medical Officer (CMO) for England, stated that social distancing is likely to be in place until the end of this year.

This of course will mean holding Merchandise World in a traditional exhibition format in September will not be practical, or indeed socially responsible. So, we are changing our plans.

Please keep the date 9th September in your diary. Whilst we will not be exhibiting at Milton Keynes this September, Merchandise World will be replaced by a online virtual event on the same day. This is an exciting new concept which will enable people to engage with each other in a new way without any risks.

As you can imagine, there is a lot to be done to put this in place, and details will be revealed in a full announcement in the coming weeks.

We expect that by September businesses will be functioning again, and suppliers and distributors will want to be in touch with each other and we aim to provide an exciting new forum for this to happen.

Merchandise World at the Ricoh in January 2021

Plans for Merchandise World at The Ricoh in January 2021 are continuing as normal. The floorplan is currently being redrawn to ensure every aisle is at least 3 metres wide.

We look forward to keeping you informed as we move forward.

In the meantime we hope you stay safe and well, and that your business prospers once life returns to a new kind of normal.
