As the UK’s leading 3d engraver, Laser Crystal, in Poole, have been providing the trade with creative ideas through innovation and superior 3D technology for 20 years. With the need for efficiency and cost management being ever more prevalent this year, Andrea Hatcher has recently equipped the company with Promotional Office, the trade business management package from the software team at Sourcing City.

 

Andrea says: ‘We’ve been talking to Steve about Promotional Office for a while now with a view to positioning the company ready for the next steps towards a more integrated system. The current situation has meant that some serious business decisions have had to be made, but implementing Promotional Office has been one of the positive decisions. Katy and I have been working over the summer with Danielle and Owen (the project team at Sourcing City) in preparation for the big launch and training with Kenn! We had a day with teacher (and Steve) to go through all that we needed to be up and ‘live’. The efficiencies are already apparent, but it’s worth remembering that, at the start, new software and new ways of working will always require extra effort to work it all through. However, I’m already looking forward to our next phase and the capabilities that Promotional Office can now deliver for us!’

 

Kenn said: ‘Promotional Office is a great fit for a company like Laser Crystal and Andrea has been really thorough in her preparation for the install. We had a good day in Poole, even though we had to maintain the required spacing, but I don’t have a problem having to speak up when needed!’

 

At a time when we’re surrounded by change and uncertainty, it’s great to see Laser Crystal planning investment and positioning for what the new future might bring.
