Yesterday’s measures taken by the German Federal Government shows how dynamic the developments regarding COVID-19 are. They also make medium to long-term planning for all areas of economic life more difficult. Of course, this also affects the PSI show in January.

 

Our top priority as organisers of the PSI is not only to ensure the greatest possible safety and health of our exhibitors and visitors, but also to ensure the commercial success you expect from your participation in the trade show. These factors lead to intensive considerations on our part as to whether we will actually hold the show in January or possibly at a later date.

 

We are currently in intensive contact with the state government and authorities in North Rhine-Westphalia and Messe Düsseldorf in order to create the best possible conditions for our event at the most suitable time. From today’s point of view, the January date hardly seems feasible under the given conditions.

 

When we combine our forces again and the direction is clear, we will once again shape the future – together with you.
