The edition of the HAPTICA® live ’21 that was scheduled to take place at the World Conference Center Bonn (WCCB) on March 17, 2021, is being postponed. The event location, the World Conference Center Bonn (WCCB), is namely being set up as a municipal Vaccination Centre from December 2020 until March 31, 2021, which means that it is unavoidable to postpone the “Experience of Haptic Advertising” until a later date. In close coordination with the WCCB, a new date is currently being determined, which will be announced shortly.

“Like many developments in the course of the pandemic, the news of the Vaccination Centre being set up at the WCCB reached us at very short notice,” stated Michael Scherer, acting partner of the organisers, WA Media. “This is deeply regrettable, however at the same time this is also in line with a realistic assessment of the current situation of the COVID-19 pandemic and – also with a view to next year – with the ongoing dynamic number of infections. The health of our exhibitors, visitors and employees takes top priority for us. Moreover, our aim is to also organise a HAPTICA® live event in 2021 that is both safe and eventful and which also does justice to our high quality demands.”

Regardless of the changed venue date, the planning for the HAPTICA® live ’21 is ongoing. The ninth edition of the event holds a manifold offer of products in store as well as exciting insights into the marketing strategies of famous companies, in addition to inspiring examples of best practice. Exhibitors from all product areas will present the entire spectrum of ideas for promotional products. In the scope of the lecture forum, speakers from the marketing departments of renowned companies – including Miles & More and Melitta – will report on how they implement haptic advertising. Furthermore, the Best Practice Show that highlights examples of international campaigns will provide ideas for clever promotional products strategies, whilst a further special exhibition showcases the award winners of the Promotional Gift Award 2021.

The HAPTICA® live ’20, which was able to be held on September 8, 2020 thanks to a strict hygiene and safety concept, already proved that the “Experience of Haptic Advertising” also works in times of Corona. In coordination with the responsible authorities, measures such as admission restrictions, a larger layout, a one-way visitor guidance system and multiple hand-disinfecting opportunities will once again be conducted for the HAPTICA® live ’21, so that all of the visitors feel completely safe.

Admission to the “Experience of Haptic Advertising” is free of charge, however it is necessary to register <https://www.haptica-live.de/anmeldung/> in advance via the homepage of the event.
