2021 has been a year of fresh outlooks and new starts for Allwag, including their latest recruits, Emilia Ridealgh, who joined as a Graphic Designer for the Ecommerce team, and Isabelle Brown who joins the Corporate Team as an Account Manager.
Emilia is the first of Allwag’s ‘Kickstart’ employees through the BPMA. The Kickstart Scheme provides funding to create new jobs for 16 to 24 year olds on Universal Credit who are at risk of long term unemployment.
Director, Angela Wagstaff, is proud to be supporting both the Kickstart scheme, and young professionals: “Something that really important to us here at Allwag is supporting our people with their careers wherever we can, so the Kickstart scheme was a great opportunity to help job seekers with finding employment, and also help with training in their desired fields. Emilia is the first of many Kickstart employees we hope to have joining Allwag over the next few months.”
Emilia and Isabelle, are an added compliment to Allwag’s three fabulous recruits back in January – Chris Keel (Client Relationship Manager), Katie Cook (Corporate Account Manager) and Nina Marston (Marketing Manager), as well as Ashlie Ellis who joined as a Website Administrator & Graphic Designer back in March. All of the new staff are looking forward to joining the rest of the Team in the office when Allwag returns to Merchandise House on 1st June 2021, having previously only met them on screen.
Allwag will also be able to celebrate five new beautiful babies born to Team Allwag in the last year, just goes to show the team is growing bigger every day!
