Moulding from Recycled Bottles

Over the past decade, Great Central Plastics have been investing a huge amount of time and money into researching and developing more eco friendly products. All of their products are re-usable with the option to have items moulded in a variety of different eco friendly materials. This includes manufacturing from plant based material, bio-degradable material and recycled material. Recently Great Central Plastics experimented in moulding product from recycled water bottles. According to aquariumbcn.com, more than 8 million tons of plastic bottles are dumped into the ocean each year! It’s a common misconception that all plastic is harmful to the environment, in reality plastic is only harmful when it is disposed of incorrectly. Single use plastic is the biggest issue, however if single use bottles can be re-used to make multi use products, this will help make a huge difference. Moulding products from sustainable options is a regular occurrence at Great Central Plastics.
