Bosscher International recycles textile waste to create renewable cotton socks. Cotton is the most widely used fabric in the world. By fiberising collected worn cotton and then spinning it back into yarn, new socks are made from reused cotton. And that is a more sustainable option than throwing the textile waste away (wasting precious energy and resources) or bringing the used garments to the landfill.
Donating 150 trees – offsetting production waste
However, producing recycled socks still produces energy waste. That is why Bosscher International is committed to compensating it’s CO2 footprint. By planting trees, we compensate the CO2 impact of the production and logistics chain. This year we planted 150 trees in Bolivia. We are partner of Trees for all and together we will ensure a better climate, more biodiversity and healthy living conditions for all.
