Rotterdam – Clipper Interall is investing in clarity about sustainability. As importer and supplier of promotional gifts and products it will collaborate with GSES, the Global Sustainable Enterprise System. The system forms a universal and global sustainability standard, based on hundreds of sustainability labels and standards for manufacturers, suppliers and (end) users.

“Clipper Interall is committed to provide promotional products with a minimal environmental impact. Those products are produced according to strict ethical standards, and meet the highest European safety standards,” says Ruben van ‘t Loo, Director at Clipper Interall. “The partnership with GSES allows us to have our collection independently assessed for sustainability against the pillars that are important to us.”

GSES is proud of the new partnership, explains CEO and founder Kelly Ruigrok: “It is the first major importer and supplier to choose our sustainability standard. We recently welcomed major retailers such as Wibra and Xenos, so this is a great addition in the promotional gift market. Clipper Interall noticed the trend that sustainable produced promotional products are more important to customers, so I am happy that we can support this.”

Thanks to the cooperation between Clipper Interall and GSES, (business) customers will be able to see at a glance how sustainable the promotional gift is, according to the various key pillars. Clipper Interall is the first major importer and supplier of promotional products to make this information available based on the universal and global sustainability standard of GSES.

The sustainability standard forms an independent platform that translates labels into a universal standard. All data and evidence of, for example, a social, circular or environmental footprint is shared directly with certifying institutions. Bringing together more than 560 standards and labels creates a universal language for every industry and every social, societal and environmental aspect to create a score for all processes and products of  a company and communicate clearly about them.
