Megan Pascoe, our exceptional Aftersales Executive here at the Tancia Group, achieved a significant accomplishment by finishing in the top three at the 2.4MR World Championship. The competition took place from the 29th of July to the 3rd of August in the beautiful sailor’s haven, Kiel Germany, this year.

The 2.4MR World Sailing Championship is an individual race with contestants from across the globe. Competitors in this competition use a 2.4-meter-long sailboat designed to give complete control whilst seated in the boat. This allows any person no matter age, gender, or physical ability to race on an even footing. Over 4 days with 3 races per day, the group is whittled down to the final contenders.

A lifelong sailor, Megan has been part of the 2.4MR sailing community since 2003, getting her inspiration from her father and brother for what has become her passion. Despite just getting back from her victory, Megan is already looking towards next year’s 2.4MR World Championship in Italy.
