We were sad to hear of the passing of Richard Patterson, a person known and respected in the promotional merchandise industry.

 

He passed away on Monday 9th September 2024, thankfully this was peaceful with his wife, Margaret by his side. He also leaves his devoted children, son, Steffan and two daughters, Natalia, and Ellen. Richard was also grandad to Evie, Ellis, Ethan, and Joshua, all of which will miss him greatly.

 

Richard Patterson worked in print and paper products since 1969 and had an extensive knowledge of printed products and how they could be used most effectively for promotional purposes. A familiar and friendly face in the promotional merchandise industry, many will have known Richard, or met him at the numerous trade shows he attended. It is clear Richard knew many and was extremely popular in the trade.

Most recently he had been the operations manager at Hedgehog Promotions where he provided bespoke notebooks and promotional display boxes. Prior to this he had been marketing manager at Bivalvia UK for around 7 years and he had also worked with Mike Gittins as production manager at Impakt back in the day.

 

Richard’s funeral was held on Thursday 3rd October 2024 at St Elphege Church, Wallington, Sutton, London.
