Steel City is proud to announce that Managing Director, James Biggin, has been honoured with the impressive ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ award at the 2024 unLTD Business Awards, held at the well-known Peddler Warehouse in Sheffield.

Hosted by Britain’s Got Talent Finalist and comedian Markus Birdman, the glittering ceremony celebrated the best of South Yorkshire’s thriving SME scene. Hundreds of people gathered to celebrate innovation, growth, and community impact across a range of industries.

The awards were judged by a panel of esteemed businesspeople and experts from across the region, who noted the exceptionally high quality of more than 130 applications. Each category had a shortlist of the four best entries, and the winner was announced at the award ceremony.

Phil Turner, publisher of unLTD, commented: “It was awe-inspiring to see a whole new raft of South Yorkshire’s finest SMEs rewarded this year…It’s so important we champion our small businesses; in particular the owners, entrepreneurs and people that run them, for driving the local economy forward.”
