Well respected industry stalwart, Andrew Hill was presented with the BPMA Industry Recognition Award at the BPMA Awards Dinner after Day 1 of Merchandise World in Coventry last week.

 

Andrew’s award was greeted with enthusiastic applause and cheers from the many who have come to know him over the years. His award recognises his significant contribution to both the BPMA and industry as a whole. He is a man of great character and integrity, with a fine sense of humour. The recognition is well deserved.

 

Andrew commented; “I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their very kind comments following the BPMA Awards at the Merchandise World show last Wednesday. The feedback to the award has been quite remarkable, both on the night (which is now a bit of a blur!) and afterwards as I continue to receive texts, emails, and calls from far and wide…

 

In truth, the generosity of spirit I have experienced over the last few days has been quite overwhelming at times, but is indicative of the goodwill which is so often found within our industry.. So, thank you to the BPMA board for creating this special award, and to Sourcing City for putting on Merchandise World with its positive environment and high-calibre footfall. Most of all, thank you everybody for your extraordinary kindness, it is something I am not likely to forget in a hurry….”
