I am proud to say that we have completed another phase of our carbon reduction plan by replacing the worst performing lights in our factory in Port Talbot, South Wales. We have calculated that it will save a whopping 3500Kg of CO2 emissions per year! Following a thorough site audit, we identified a number of areas requiring improvement and replacing the old tungsten lights with LEDs was the top priority. Not only do we save on CO2 emissions, but the payback is far quicker than expected. We have a number of exciting changes planned over the next 12 months which will have a positive effect on the impact we have on the environment. Net zero needs to be embraced as an opportunity!
