CM Brand the Solihull distributor have used the enforced downtime to exercise their DIY skills to set up a new base.

Operations Director Paul Burr said : ‘We’ve always taken pride in our brand and that has carried through to our working environment. Combining a good deal and the time to make the move, we took the opportunity to invest in somewhere fresh and spacious for the next phase of our business plan.’

Max Baumber, Sales Director, added: ‘I didn’t realise how much I like the smell of paint! It’s a great place and we’re looking forward to welcoming customers and suppliers here …when that sort of thing is allowed again. And, if you’re driving something with eco-credentials, we’re now equipped with charging points for a top up!’

Curt Lanman (MD) said : ‘I haven’t got time to speak to journalists and I must dash, as I tee off in 10 mins!’

CM Brand have worked through both lock down periods and applied their client contact strategy to achieve wins that have kept reserves healthy. Max Baumber says: ‘Our agility has enabled us to offer solutions in areas that would not have been our usual category during this period. It’s opened new avenues to pursue with our client group, however, we are looking forward to returning to some core product activity now. Let’s get back to work!’
