Do you remember the last face-to-face sales call you made? Dressed in your best business suit and shoes, you sat across the table from your client, doing your utmost to avoid anything that might jeapordise the sale. You couldn’t have imagined that less than a year later you’d be attending those same meetings wearing fluffy slippers, pyjama bottoms, and pleading with your kids or house mates to stop pulling faces in the background because you’re “ON A CALL!”.
Let’s be honest, this working from home isn’t the worst thing we’ve ever had to do. There’s a lot to be said for getting out of bed five minutes before work begins and flopping back into it if you want, one minute after it finishes (or even during your lunchbreak). We no longer have to worry about our work colleague’s hygiene habits, and if we don’t want to talk to them (or the boss), we just blame the cursed WIFI provider. All in all, it’s the perfect set-up!
Well not quite…As we know, the thing keeping salespeople at home, is the same thing keeping buyers at home. This “thing” is wreaking havoc and our world of premiums is far from immune. Everything has been turned on its head, with the ways of old no longer being an option. Take catalogues for example and the logistical headache we now face getting them into the hands of our clients. They were always so reliable, providing the perfect opportunity to reach out, especially in the early part of the year when things are a bit quieter. There’d be emails and calls to let contacts know that it’s on its way. Then more emails and calls to make sure it was received and ask what caught their eye. So, how do we replace those multiple touch points that so vitally help build and maintain our relationships with clients and prospectives?
With a catalogue! But not a catalogue as you know it. We need a catalogue that works just as well on a PC or phone as it would in our hands and that speaks the majority of European languages. Something that can be shared to Instagram, LinkedIn or email with the click of a button. Something that allows us to screen-grab and share part of a page, a full page, or the whole catalogue. Something that has our own logo and contact details and comes with embeddable code so we can easily integrate it into our own website. Something…OK, you get the picture: we need an all singing, all dancing digital catalogue that gives us a great way to connect with our clients without removing our fluffy slippers. This is exactly what Goldstar Europe are doing and are doing for free!
A first for European promotional gifts, Goldstar are offering every distributor their very own personalised digital catalogue to share with their clients. But it’s not just for the company, it’s for the people who need it most: the sales team. So, Maya’s catalogue has Maya’s contact details, Paddy’s catalogue has “Paddy’s” details, and so on. All you need to do is provide your logo, the contact information you want on your catalogue, and have a chat with the Goldstar team. Be warned however, they may be wearing their fluffy slippers!
