Merchandise World on Wednesday 11th September 2024 saw 109 exhibitors meet distributor companies of all sizes across the industry.
Visitor companies predominantly attended Marshall Arena in Milton Keynes from the UK and Ireland, however there were also distributor visitors from the EU. It was a clear that everyone was enthusiastic to see each other and many valuable business conversations took place.
Once again, an average of around two people per company attended amongst the 200 distributor companies visiting. As always, the show was supported by the biggest UK distributors and professional smaller distributors.
The exhibition featured 14 new suppliers to the show and overseas exhibitors represented 13% of all exhibitors. Several of these exhibitors’ presented products or services not readily available through UK suppliers. Others offered EU based services enabling distributors to order and deliver directly within the EU.
It is clear that many exhibitors now have a focus on environmentally friendly products, which was demonstrated by the new products presented in their ranges. ECO World once again proved an efficient way for visitors to identify the top environmentally friendly products in the show hall.
As everyone enjoyed the free breakfast and lunch, a real buzz could be felt throughout the show hall. The roving tea trollies were also appreciated when people needed to refuel on the move. Some even found time to visit the ever-popular Massage Angels.
