Jason O’Connor has acquired sole ownership of Total Merchandise, the business he co-founded in 2004.

 

The acquisition comes after his fellow co-founders, David Stoddart and Michelle Rae Stoddart, announced their decision to retire.

 

O’Connor is now the sole owner of the promotional products distributor, which will celebrate 20 years in the industry in September – and to say he’s excited about the future of the business would be an understatement.

 

“Looking at the journey Michelle, David and I have undertaken since the distant days of 2004, I am extremely proud of what we have all achieved in this time, not least going from three to 50 staff and achieving countless awards along the way,” he says. “I am very passionate about not only what we have done but also what we can do going forward in this fantastic industry. I would like to wish Michelle and Dave the very best for the future.”

 

Total Merchandise has a team of more than 50 based at its headquarters in Colchester, Essex. The multi-award-winning business was recently voted Distributor of the Year in the 2023 edition of the Sourcing City Awards.

 

O’Connor and some of the TM team will be attending Merchandise World and the BPMA Awards this week, and look forward to celebrating with the industry then.
