Edible Product supplier Eat My Logo has this week completed the final dispatch of its largest cake jar project to be used at various locations across the UK to help their colleagues celebrate Wimbledon.
Sales Operations Manager Amy commented “it is always such a fantastic opportunity to get a project like this, even more so with this becoming our largest ever Cake Jar order! Previous investments into further production equipment and staff have meant that this order ran extremely smoothly through our production team. The dispatch of this order was very unique as it consisted of over 50 pallets, all packed and sent out to 68 sites across the country. This was the safest way to transport such a fragile product and the feedback we received was fantastic. The jars were a tasty accompaniment to the celebrations!”
The brand worked closely with their distributor partner to ensure that the product spec, artwork and shipping were all on point for the end user. The product selected met the brief perfectly, offering a large edible printed branding area, and a recipe that met various dietary requirements of the product recipients (vegan/dairy free recipe).
Head of Baking, Rob Jackson commented ‘A lot has gone into this order…. literally, with over 149kg of flour, 131kg of eggs, and almost 1000kg of frosting! The order required its own dedicated production line for almost two weeks’.
The majority of Eat My Logo’s orders are used by end users internally, usually to treat staff or mark an occasion. This recent large volume project is a demonstration that businesses are now spending more than ever on ensuring their own people are motivated.
