In response to the unprecedented demand for PPE during the ongoing coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic, Duraweld Ltd, manufacturers of bespoke stationery and packaging solutions, rapidly developed a prototype disposable protective face visor, utilising rigid clear PVC, that was approved by Doctors/Clinicians County Durham, Darlington and Scarborough NHS Trust who have subsequently ordered over 60,000 of them.
