Sock Club Custom is excited to officially announce their membership with Sourcing City and expand operations into the European market!
Sock Club Custom has made a name for themselves in the US market for their incredibly high quality custom socks made in the United States, super quick turnaround time (as quick as 5 days with no rush fees), intricate design and knitting capabilities, and excellent customer service.
Sock Club Custom has recently expanded their product line to include high quality price-competitive options that are made in India and China, which have shorter shipping times to the EU than to the United States.
Director of Sales Max Williamson noted how excited he is about the expansion. “Our distributor partners have been looking for a more price competitive option from us so that we can be their sole sock supplier, and I am thrilled that these new product offerings can meet that need,” said Williamson.
Sock Club Custom started as a sock subscription service in 2012, sourcing cool sock designs from other retail brands and sending them to customers once a month.
After finding that their design team could produce cooler designs than they could source, the Sock Club team then transitioned into manufacturing their own socks.
Luckily, in 2016, a promotional products distributor called founder Noah Lee and told him that there was a big opportunity he was missing. “I didn’t even know about the promotional products industry until that call,” said Lee.
Sock Club attended their first PPAI show in 2017 in Las Vegas, and fell in love with the creativity, community, and entrepreneurial spirit of the promotional products industry.
Director of Marketing Chloe Ayres said of her experience: “Everyone that we met was intently focused on finding creative solutions for their clients, and seemed to be having a great time building their business and forming relationships. We knew that we had found our home.”
Sock Club is looking forward to continuing partnerships with more distributors in the EU and beyond thanks to their online user account system, which allows their clients to access their designs, make changes, and order custom socks 24/7.
“Our clients are prioritizing their clients, which means that our clients often need to work with us late at night or on the weekends. We developed this user account portal so that our working hours are not stopping our distributor partners from closing sales and moving projects forward,” said Williamson.
