On September 30th, the Sycal team are heading to Wales to tackle our first charity challenge!

Standing at a staggering 3,560ft, Adam, Christa, Sophie, and Paulina will be heading to Snowdonia next month to climb to the summit of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) to raise funds for the wonderful Marie Curie charity.

The Marie Curie is a wonderful charity that provides care and support for those living with terminal illnesses across the UK. Their nurses are truly awe-inspiring, working night and day across homes and hospices providing specialist care.

Whether it’s providing frontline care, practical information, emotional support, or funding research into palliative care and end-of-life, Marie Curie is a truly incredible cause that we’re thrilled to be raising funds for.

As the emblem of Wales and Marie Curie alike, the daffodil, a symbol of hope and renewal, adorns their cause. A fitting tribute it is, to tread the paths of the mightiest Welsh peak, Mount Snowdon.

Now more than ever Marie Curie nurses and their frontline staff are needed to provide vital care, expertise and compassion to terminally ill patients and their families, in their hospices or in their own homes across the UK.
