This June, we are proud to be celebrating Sycal’s 40^th year in business! 

  

Back in 1983, Return of the Jedi was in the cinema, Every Breath You Take was topping the charts, and Sycal was taking its first steps into the world of promotional merchandise and branded gifts. 

  

Originally founded as a manufacturer of parasols and umbrellas, Sycal has evolved a lot over the years. Although brollies and canopies are still being produced in-house to this day, we soon branched out into new printing techniques, before developing into the merchandise distributor we are today. 

  

A lot has changed over the last 40 years, but we’ve always kept our roots in Kempston, Bedfordshire.  Fifteen years ago, we settled in our current offices and warehouse, allowing us to offer complimentary storage and fulfilment options to our customers. 

  

What started out as simple screen printing has now evolved into DTF printing, sublimation, laser engraving, sewing, and embroidery services.  

  

Over the next five months, we’ll be inviting select suppliers and customers to join in the celebrations as we commemorate the BIG four zero.
