After Germany and the Netherlands it is the PSI’s top exhibitor country: Turkey. This is why the leading international trade fair of the promotional products industry decided to make Turkey the official partner country at PSI 2013 which will be held at the D?sseldorf Exhibition Centre from 9 to 11 January. The announcement was made on the occasion of PROMOT?RK powered by PSI, the international trade show for promotional products from 20 to 23 September in Istanbul.
With more than 60 exhibitors every year, Turkey is not only the second largest international exhibitor group at PSI but also an important partner for the entire industry located right at the gate to Asia. Generally, bilateral trade relations between Germany and Turkey are very good. Germany has traditionally been Turkey’s most important trading partner. Close to ten percent of Turkish foreign trade are generated by the trade with Germany. With its growth achieved over the past few years, the PROMOT?RK powered by PSI trade show reflects the similarly dynamic Turkish promotional products market.
“We developed the idea of an official partner country for the trade show to emphasise and support the international nature of PSI by a variety of measures”, explains PSI Director Michael Freter. “For the premiere, we were pleased to choose Turkey which is one of our most important partners, and we look forward to continue our close cooperation.”
Since 2011, PROMOT?RK powered by PSI has been organised in the basis of a licence agreement between PSI and ITE/EUF, the organiser of the PROMOT?RK promotional products trade show. At the PROMOT?RK show, the PSI will present itself at the PROMOT?RK associations stand with, among other things, its new marketing and service tool, the PSI Webshop. At the PSI Show in D?sseldorf in January, PROMOT?RK will again be represented with a stand of its own in the International Associations Area in Hall 11. This is also where a reception will again be given for the Consul General of Turkey who has been visiting the association at the Leading International Trade Show for several years and is a welcome visitor here. There will also be a number of Turkish events at PSI on the occasion of Turkey as the partner country.
