Team Wicked Yarns are at it again – in the next 2 months we have 2 fundraising events in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.  Firstly on 25th February we are (a little belatedly) celebrating Chinese New Year with a fabulous Chinese Banquet at our local Chinese restaurant.  We’re hoping to sell at least 95 tickets and to raise over ?600 for Macmillan.  This will be our 3rd Chinese event and its always a fantastic night with loads of food and laughter!  We’ll be holding a raffle on the night, so if anyone is interested in donating a raffle prize to help us raise money for this great cause, it would be really very much appreciated.   Please email nikki@wickedyarns.co.uk 

 

Our 2nd fundraiser is the Wilmslow Half Marathon – Julian (Managing Director of Wicked Yarns Ltd) has entered it again (it will be his 3rd).  The half marathon takes place on Sunday 23rd March this year, and Julian is hoping to beat his personal best and to run it in well under 2 hours!  Hopefully the weather will be kinder on him than last year!  If you would like to sponsor Julian and help keep him motivated please take a look at his just giving page.
